My Personal Story & Motivation

Growing up in Marrakech, I've witnessed how lifestyle shifts—from traditional active living to more sedentary urban habits—have increased heart disease risks in our communities. In recent years, we've seen a notable rise in acute coronary syndrome cases, particularly in adults aged 60 and above.

Through my clinical rotations, I observed the significant prevalence of hypertension diagnoses, including those discovered incidentally during routine screenings. This personal drive led me to create this website, blending modern science with culturally relevant advice.

For instance, I love exploring how local ingredients like argan oil can naturally lower cholesterol, making heart health feel achievable and familiar to everyone in our community.

My Vision & Goals

After graduation, I plan to specialize in cardiology through residency and contribute to public health initiatives in Morocco. In the meantime, I'm committed to growing Heart in Health into a trusted resource for heart health education.

Whether you're dealing with hypertension, curious about cholesterol-lowering foods, or just starting your wellness journey, I'm here to provide clear, actionable guidance rooted in my medical training and clinical experience.
